ABSTRACT
Public Relations of the Pandeglang Regency Government is a bridge for the
public to find out information about policies or programs implemented by
Pandeglang Regency Government. Public Relations of Pandeglang Regency
Government also has an important role in shaping, improving or maintaining image
of Pandeglang Regency Government. This study aims to determine the strategy for
compiling and conveying the messages as well as information dissemination
strategies implemented by the Public Relations of Pandeglang Regency through the
media. This research uses Post-positivism paradigm. The method used is a case
study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were
observation, interviews and documentation. The informant selection technique used
purposive sampling. The theory used in this research is the theory of information
integration. The results showed that the strategy used by Public Relations of
Pandeglang Regency was to maintain image of the government in the process of
compiling and conveying the messages in a structured, informative manner and
chemistry at work. The Public Relations strategy of Pandeglang Regency in
disseminating information through the media is to establish good relations with the media crew and use social media, especially the Instagram social media account
which is managed by the Public Relations and Protocol of Pandeglang Regency.
